Target setting has been enabled via the use of different data versions. This allows you to compare Actual performance against Targets. Targets can be set on the KPI level but also on an aggregate level and the data collection periods can also be differentiated.
Each organization linked to a KPI can use their own local data collection unit of measure. The way how data is collected can also be differentiated for different organizations. This enables a global deployment of the platform and enables multiple uses.
Access to screens and tasks can be authorized. This means that menu’s can differentiate per user group, only showing what is relevant for that specific user group. For data collection, authorizations are used to restrict data submission by unauthorized users and data authorizations can be granted for reporting. GreenIntelli software has been designed to share the platform for multiple organizations while segregate different data sets.
All application inputs and outputs can be accessed via a web based interface, allowing for internal and external access. Look and feel of the application can be adapted to the organization look and feel.
Multi level Consolidation
Multiple consolidation levels allow for Sustainability Performance Management and Reporting for different organizational groups, for example Central, Divisional or National level. Consolidation can be performed based on the Control approach or based on the Equity share approach to adhere fully to the WRI GHG protocol.
Non financial indicators
Although GreenIntelli software has been designed for Sustainability Performance Management, other non financial indicators can also be set up. This enables integration of Sustainability Performance Management with your normal performance management cycle.
Integration back-end systems
GreenIntelli software on a Client-Server architecture allows to integrate the Sustainability Performance database with other databases like a Corporate Datawarehouse. Via standard ETL tools, available in the business intelligence platform, back-end systems data can be retrieved and integrated. For the Cloud based architecture, integration can be achieved by loading (csv) files.
Similar for Target setting, planning values can be set to compare Actual performance against Planned performance. Bandwidth can be set to allow for alerts in case underlying performance is outside the bandwidth levels.
In case KPI definitions are shared between multiple organizations, benchmarking can help to sharpen your view on your own performance. Similar as for other data versions, this can be done at a higher level (for example consolidation level) than your data collection levels.
In case organizational scope changes over time, comparison period over period will be distorted. For this reason a baseline data version is available. Restatement of the baseline will allow for comparable period over period reporting while keeping your full history (of your external reporting) in tact.
